The Tuna is a fish that can be caught in the ocean at The Beach or on the Beach Farm during Summer and Winter. It can also be caught on Ginger Island during any season on Island West (ocean), South, Southeast, and in the Pirate Cove. It can also randomly be found in Garbage Cans during Summer or Winter or at the Traveling Cart for data-sort-value="100"300–1,000g.

Tuna can be caught regardless of time of day or season using Magic Bait.

Tuna can be placed in a Fish Pond, where they will reproduce every 3 days. The initial pond capacity is 3 fish, but the capacity can be increased to 10 by completing three quests. The only possible output is blue Tuna Roe.

Quests

• Item Delivery: One Tuna may be randomly requested in Summer or Winter at the "Help Wanted" board outside Pierre's General Store for a reward of data-sort-value="300">300g and 150 Friendship points.
• Fishing: Demetrius or Willy may randomly reqest 1-4 Tuna during Summer or Winter at the "Help Wanted" board outside Pierre's General Store for a reward of data-sort-value="100">100g per fish. (You get to keep the fish).
• Aquatic Overpopulation: Demetrius may request 10 Tuna to be caught in Summer at the Special Orders board outside the Mayor's Manor for a reward of gold equivalent to selling the fish and the Farm Computer recipe.
