Eric Barone, who goes by the handle ConcernedApe, is Stardew Valley's sole developer. He programmed the game, created all art assets as well as all sound effects and music.
Developing the game took four years, during which he updated progress on the game's development blog. He currently resides in Seattle, Washington.
