The day cycle is a period of 18 hours in game (or 18 minutes real time; 1 in-game hour is 1 minute) from 6:00AM to 12:00AM (Midnight). Upon reaching midnight, the player character becomes tired and in need of sleep. It is possible to stay awake until 2:00AM the following day, at which point the player will pass out. If a player passes out they will wake up in bed, having been dragged there by one of the town's doctors, who will also have taken some of the players money as a call out fee (details of this transaction will appear as a letter in the player's letter box).
