Seaweed is displayed in the [[Collections#Fish|Fish section]] of the [[Collections|collection]] tab, and counts towards the four fishing [[Fishing#Achievements|Achievements]].<ref name="quasi_fish" />  However, it is otherwise not considered to be a fish, and therefore cannot be sold to [[Willy]] at the [[Fish Shop]].
