Propose change to the description of grass to reflect the 1.6 change: In the winter, grass will no longer die but it won't spread. Cutting grass in the winter is much less effective, so it's still advisable to collect all the grass in the farm beforehand. It is recommended that a player stores enough hay to feed their animals for the entire 28-day season in their silos. CatherineJuliet (talk) 14:22, 23 March 2024 (UTC)

Cutting grass/grass starter before silo

I read the pages for grass and grass starter and noticed that something is not mentioned. Many people use the scythe on grass prior to purchasing a silo. I've put in 500 hours, and off the top of my head, I don't know how many fiber it produces on average. I recall putting grass starter down and harvesting prior to animals on my farm.
