Equipment is machinery that performs tasks for you when you set them in operation. You build most types of equipment from raw materials according to recipes that you learn, most often by advancing in skill levels. Alternatively, some equipment can also be purchased from certain vendors in Stardew Valley. Some equipment, like fishing tackle, is highly portable, while other types remain stationary when in use.
