The sewer is unlocked after donating 60 artifacts in the game to the museum.
In the sewer you can catch the mutant carp 
which is one of the five legendary fish in the game.
Krobus is located in the Sewer and sells 'rare' items. Some of which are Stardrop and Iridium Sprinkler
