The Chipped Amphora is an Artifact that can be found digging up an Artifact Spot in Pelican Town. It also has a chance to appear inside Artifact Troves. Vincent sells one in his shop at the Desert Festival for 
1 Calico Egg. It can also be gifted by a pet dog with max friendship.

Chipped Amphora is used in the spool of the Sewing Machine to create the Antiquity Shirt. 
It can be used in dyeing, serving as an orange dye at the dye pots, located in Emily's and Haley's house, 2 Willow Lane.

Chipped Amphora is not used in any quests.
